20 years in the water, and I'm still addicted to improving every single surf.
I've been surfing for over two decades, and for most of that time the surf has more or less run my life — where I lived, what I did for work, how I planned every trip I took. I've chased and ridden some of the best waves on the planet, competed along the way with a run of wins I'm still proud of, and spent over six years working inside the surf industry itself — selling thousands of boards, helping surfers at every level find the right dimensions for how they actually surf, and personally riding pretty much every shape, brand, and volume combination out there.
Here's the honest version: I'm a reasonable surfer, and very far from being at the top level — I've never pretended otherwise. But I've dedicated my whole life to surfing, and I know what separates being competent from being truly good. And what I've found is that it's never based on talent. It's the right technique that nobody has ever broken down for them properly.
I've coached a lot of people since then, from surfers just past the basics through to genuinely advanced surfers chasing that last 10%. Core Surf Academy is the system I built to do that properly, for people serious enough to put the work in.
